Sand Cottage is a detached single
storey cottage built circa 1860 and now renovated and refurbished
to the
highest standard. Spectacular beachside location in Maidens village
with uninterrupted views towards the Isle of Arran and Culzean
Country Park.
Located only one mile from the world famous
Turnberry Golf Course and Resort, the accommodation comprises of
Lounge - with T.V, Video, DVD/CD.
Kitchen - fully equipped with breakfast bar, dishwasher,
washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave. CD Player.
Conservatory - situated to the front of the property
to take advantage of the outstanding views. Large L shaped, incorporating
2nd lounge and dining area. With TV, CD/Radio and Telescope.
Master Bedroom - Double bed, TV/Video.
Bedroom 2 - Flexible bed configuration (1 super king
or 2 singles) T.V/Video.
Bedroom 3 - Single or twin bed arrangement, T.V
Main Bathroom - Corner bath, shower cubicle, WC,
CD/Radio
Outside - To the rear of the property, a decked area for
secluded dining.
To the front of the property, a barbecue area with
seating to enjoy the magnificent views and especially the sunsets.
Storage
shed for bikes and other equipment. Parking for 2 cars with additional
parking close at hand.
Note - Hair dryers, bed linen, towels,
toiletries and bathrobes are supplied in each bedroom. Washing powder,
dishwasher
tablets etc all supplied. Welcome pack with milk, bread, tea, coffee,
orange juice, and other surprises! Small book, CD and video library
along with a selection of games.
Children welcome, cot and high chair available.
All Orchid Cottages are non smoking and pets are not allowed. Kennels
close at hand if required.
Sand Cottage has the benefit of a quiet rural seaside
location but only minutes from the many attractions of Ayrshire.
A 10 minute walk along the beach takes you into the grounds of Scotland’s
finest National Trust property – Culzean Castle and Country
Park. Golf, fishing, sailing, horse riding on the beach, shooting
and walking are all close by.
Maidens village has a post office,
two general stores and a regular bus service to Ayr and Girvan. For
the gourmet a five minute walk to Wildings Seafood Restaurant (outstanding)
or a 5 minute walk to the Pub!
