The Byre is a single storey stone
building, built circa 1850 and converted to a cottage in 2004. It
has been refurbished to the
highest standards and includes ramped access.
UNFORTUNATELY THE BYRE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
The accommodation comprises of:
Lounge / Dining - Open plan living
centred around a gas coal fire forming a focal point. T.V, Video,
DVD and CD/ Radio.
Kitchen - Open plan fully fitted kitchen with breakfast
bar, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer and
tumble dryer.
Master Bedroom - Flexible bed configuration (1 super
king or 2 singles) T.V/DVD.
En suite shower room with WC.
Bedroom 2 - Flexible bed configuration (1 super
king or twins) T.V/DVD.
Master Bathroom - Jacuzzi bath with over head shower and WC.
Outside - cobbled patio area with seating, a gas
BBQ and a Mexican stove. Storage shed for bikes and other equipment.
Parking for 2 cars with additional space
nearby.
Note - Hair dryers, bed linen, towels, toiletries and bathrobes are supplied
in each bedroom. Washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc all supplied. Welcome
pack with milk, bread, tea, coffee, orange juice, and other surprises! Small
book, CD and DVD library along with a selection of games.
Children welcome, cot, high chair and baby alarm available.
All Orchid Cottages are non smoking and pets are not allowed.
The Knockdon Farm Estate is nestled in a tranquil
setting, surrounded by outstanding scenery yet only minutes from
the many attractions of Ayrshire. Golf, fishing, sailing, shooting
and walking are all close at hand. For the gourmet, 2 outstanding
country house hotels are within a 5 minute drive.
